More Superbusnet.com shit.

I changed the layout for Superbusnet. It's a downloaded theme, but I like it; it's understated, which I can't say for a lot of the shit that I see nowadays. And it's not as BRIGHTFUCKINGBLUE as the last layout was. XD

Also, I added links to ACTIVE Superbusnet.com sites. That means I added... three sites, them being EFED, Cris's Lanzenritter and DTN's Icy Flames. Anyone that was planning on making a site but is "under construction", if you want to be listed, make some notable content. I might make another links section with other links, like for FESS, IP, etc.

I also added a category called "Smart People". This is for guys on LJ that stand out for whatever reason. To have made this list, a used a few criteria:

- The person does the primary portion of their blogging in public entries. That eliminated samuraiter and kyuusei. :(
- The person stands out in some way, shape or form as exceptional in a specific genre, such as fanfiction or politics or whatever. That took out a few people, including my girlfriend.
- The person has a professional-ish website. That applied to one person.

Just one thing that people NEED to know: I used real names with only one exception (mel_makoro, and that's more or less because even I don't know what her real name is. XD). If that is a problem, tell me ASAP. The people that's relevant to are alexlucard, hezul, bardiche, and dmajohnson.

Finally, I've added in a lot of my old FESS entries. That's good for people that don't - or can't, in the case of someone like Josh - read my FESS entries, or even know what FESS is.

I've used that downloaded layout on Lanzenritter once (and, even today, a bit of its code is in it - namely, the "posted in" line, image included). It's a nice layout, IMHO - using it is no shame.

Anyway, since you've only added the active websites in the links list - is that "link all other superbusnet sites" policy still up?

Ah yeah, I was going to ask the same thing about the links. XD *too slow ;.;*

In short: No. If they can't bother to be on top of things, why should we?

Yeah, I know who that "one person" is. XD Although it's a little odd everyone else's links to their LJ and mine links to my resume site. :P

And no, I don't mind you using my real name. I mean... My real name has been my username ever since I parted with my CoolLizy handle. :)

I really like that layout, actually. It's easier on the eyes than the one you had up yesterday.

My first page of entries doesn't make me look like a smart person, but I feel honored, nonetheless. XD

Oh. That thing about real names doesn't apply to me. Good thing, since only my girlfriend and my immediate family are allowed to use mine. :-) Others get sledgehammered.

Bus, I would gladly put my site on, if at lease I get enough information about Ike. *grins*

I don't think there's really any shame in using a certain layout if it works. Of course, if it was stolen without permission, then there'd be shame. Anyways.

Me? Leading authority on Musou series? I wouldn't think so. XD

And so you know, I have no problem with people using my real name on the INTARWEBS because I do it all the time. That and I know for a fact I'm not the only person with my name.

Trust me; I have no problems with the online world knowing only my initials (I actually prefer it that way). That said, though... isn't it kind of pointless to link to my LJ since all but maybe four of my entries are friends only? :X

Bus (I don't even know your real name),
As a girls hockey coach, I'd love to hear your opinion on this. Recently in the news here there's been a lot of coverage of a pair of twin girls who want to try out for their high school boys hockey team, because they feel they are "miles above in skill" the members of the school girls team. However, the rule for the Manitoba High School Athletics Association is that girls can only try out for the boys team if the school doesn't have a girls team, theirs does so they are out of luck. Then, they sued the Association for discrimination and the case hearing was going on all summer. Last week the adjudicator found in favour of them and said the school had to let them try out for the team. What's your take?
I'm sure I haven't conveyed all the details, just google "Pasternak sisters hockey winnipeg" for more articles, there were daily updates in both city papers all summer.

Real name is Chris.

And that's such a brilliant question, that I decided to write about it.
