My Football Manager/Worldwide Soccer Manager 2007 preview is done, and will be in the que once Inside Pulse stops having a temper tantrum.

Frankly, I hate it. I hate previewing manager games almost as much as reviewing them, and unlike Madden, I really had to do all the research for this one in-game, which explains why this "preview" is done a week after the European release. It didn't help that I had to add "witty" (read: lame) little subtitles to make the article pretend to be interesting. It didn't help either that my graphics card won't let me play the game in Windowed mode, either; I HAVE to play it full-screen, which basically means my normal multi-tasking ways go bye-bye whenever I play Footy Man. Oh well.

Next, I don't know what to do. Review Eastside Hockey Manager? Write up reviews for all the classic Castlevania games (an idea I had due to the fact that Portrait of Ruin is due out in a few weeks)? Write the History of ColecoVision article? Say "fuck it" and try to see if WalMart has Guitar Hero II available without a controller, despite the fact that the review has already been called? Who knows?

Option 1 is good because I can't wait to dive into EHM, but bad because it sucks to review manager games (they're guaranteed to score low). Option 2 is good because it's timely, but bad because I don't know if I can review all those games by November 16 (though to be frank, I could break it down into features, like "NES Era", "GBA Era", etc.). Option 3 is good because I have to do it anyway, bad because I currently have jack shit for motivation (I'm on an NES kick currently). Option 4 is pretty much bad all around, considering I haven't beaten Guitar Hero 1 yet, and that's also $50 more out of my wallet.

EDIT: Of course, I would NEVER settle on a timeline of all the Castlevania games in hopes that I would get a free copy of PoR for review purposes, knowing we have a good relationship with Konami because of Alucard over in Minnesota. Nope.

That'd be like me asking most of my FL if I should do another Fire Emblem feature. The answer will assuredly be YES from them. Slight bias there. XD

Actually, if I were to do that, I'd probably need your help with the more obscure titles, and the history behind them.

Don't be so sure, 'Bus-ter. :-P I wouldn't mind calling dibs on a game or two in that series if there's going to be a theme for retroviewing it prior to POR.
