I'm bored. Let's try something new.

Comment asking me what my stance is on any political or social issue, and I'll give my unbridled opinions, and take a stance.

I figure this might give me the motivation to actually fucking write something. At the very least, it will give me something to sharpen my debate skills with.

Just two things:

1) No personal attacks on either side. This is about stating opinions and debate.
2) No bullshit posts. I'll just delete them.

EDIT: If anyone feels the need to link to this, or their own comments, I surely won't complain. I realize half my friends stopped reading at word one because it didn't involve butt-humping cartoons, so I'd like to hear from outsiders, surely.

Any "war" over a fucking videogame had better be virtual, and played on a server. People being fanboys for a system to the point where they hopelessly defend it to the death aren't just foolish, they've become whores for large corporations.

I like the article that Mark Cuban wrote on this subject: http://www.blogmaverick.com/2007/02/03/the-fanboy-culture/

(After Mark Cuban had a reality show, I was not inclined to listen to anything he had to see, but that is a good article, so I might have to revise my opinion.)

Even he admits that the show was a horrible idea. And Mark Cuban has some BRILLIANT thoughts on everything from the internet to sports (remember, he's the owner of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks, a team that he made relevant) to society. He's a brilliant thinker.

And when our workforce was thinking of going to business casual dress (away from our current standard of "please try not to have your dick hanging out of your boxers while working"), I linked around this article, and... we haven't changed our dress code. :)
