Michael Tomasky's Blog (something the liberals on my list would be smart to bookmark)
On the right side of his blog, there's a counter from Real Clear Politics that shows a consummate polling total, based on Gallup, Quinnipiac and other polls. It shows the total swing, as well as totals from battleground states.
I've watched - JUST TODAY - Obama gain from a 5.4 point lead over McCain to a 5.8 point lead .4 points in one day!
Granted, polls are mostly bullshit, and usually inaccurate at the end of the day (especially if you believe in the Bradley Effect), but I do think there's something to those numbers, and the way they've swung recently (and the way they're likely going to swing once the bailout passes, because McCain's going to get hurt by that, unfairly, if I say so myself).
I also think there's something to be said by the fact that, as of right now, Obama is leading in Nevada. Let me make this clear:John McCain is losing his home state. (Never mind, I'm fucking retarded)
EDIT: With all of this "Maverick" talk, am I the only one picturing McCain and Obama replacing Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer in Top Gun, with McCain getting in Obama's face and going "That's right! Obamaman... I AM... dangerous~"?
I read various news sources for my news; unlike someone I know, I don't read "all" of the ones that are "put in front of me", but I do diversify. I read conservative and liberal sources. Also, I don't know if you saw this, but I found it on a friends' journal: Sarah Palin Thinks - a Flowchart.
