  • 00:05:06: I just got an email telling me "There's still time to preorder Dragon Age II!" Uh, need to calibrate your auto-mailers, EA.
  • 00:05:30: I also need to find out just what the hell I did that is causing these plonkers to send me marketing emails *again*.
  • 00:13:26: On the one hand, waiting for a PS3 game to install for 15 minutes is annoying. On the other hand, hopefully this will fix loading times...
  • 00:13:51: though I have to ask. Why is this thing installing? I could have sworn the original installed too.
  • 00:20:56: "Oh, crap, I'm not connected. Let me plug in my ethernet cab--" "PATCH AVAILABLE. KICKING YOU OUT." God damnit, Sony!
  • 01:03:43: OK, I've gotten to a point where I've started to get seriously worked in Dragon Age. Related: Fuck Revenants.
  • 01:15:07: Another new game put into my PlayStation, another ten minutes spent installing crap.
  • 01:19:43: Translation: "We're going to either permaban them, or wipe their achievements. At the very least.." http://bit.ly/gkbaaN
  • 01:34:15: Wow. I got NINE spam tweets, all within four minutes, about beta testing Battlefield 3. Let's do some spam reporting!
  • 11:18:20: I have to wonder if the people saying that the earthquake in Japan is "karma" for Pearl Harbour (1941) are just trolling us for the lulz.
  • 11:19:12: And really, if you want to get into "karma", I would say WE'RE the ones who are going to get bit, between Hiroshima, Nagasaki and internment
  • 11:23:51: RT @akeirans: @superbus I think the list of things the US could get bitten in the ass over Karma is too long to list with 140 characters.
  • 11:27:32: OK, MLB '11 The Show just went from J. Cole's "Blow Up" to Edgar Winter Group's "Fre Ride". This playlist is schizophrenic.
  • 11:51:49: Found out what "Advanced Stats" were that they want me to buy in MLB The Show: It's those shitty "new" stats that @edropple seems to love.
  • 11:54:22: Hey, that whole NPR thing? Bullshit, as predicted. And this is written by someone who's not an NPR fan. http://bit.ly/fF11Kl
  • 11:56:10: Possible RT, but Minnesota has elected Jesse Ventura, Michelle Bachman and Al Franken to public office. What's in the water up there?
  • 12:16:00: Problem with baseball video games: the game itself takes longer to play than other sports... then you realize there's 162 plus playoffs.
  • 12:38:50: Is Eric Karros usually this bad as a colour commentator? I never thought I would say the words "I would rather have Rex Hudler".
  • 12:57:48: I'm still mad that I'm missing Harvard vs. Princeton for a completely irrelevant Bantam game with a terrible partner.
  • 16:04:33: Hey GOP: By your logic, if the country was doing well enough for Obama to golf, you'd have no chance at election in '12. Pick your poison.
  • 16:27:09: Just for shits, I checked the forums at RPGFan. Sure enough, Ar Tonelico's thread has 30 pages. #fanboysonrevolt
  • 21:37:14: Ralph Nader in 2000. #myfirstpresidentialvote #whoops

In Dragon Age, if you ever run into something that triggers the phrase "cold air" to appear in regard to whatever you're inspecting, leave it alone. They have a tendency to spawn those Revenants. You should be ready to tackle them by the time you're about to go to Orzammar--and I recommend you pick that as your second-to-last place to go for the treaties.

In fact, you should probably go in this order: Mage Tower, Brecillian Forest, Redcliffe, Urn of Sacred Ashes, Orzammar, Denerim.

Shit. That might be the problem; I'm in Redcliff now.

Redcliff was my first stop on the Fuck Ter Loghain Tour.

Oh. If you're not that far into the Redcliffe, I'd recommend leaving and tackling the Mage Circle and Brecillian Forest first. I know the game's structured to look like you can pick and choose wherever you want to go to first, but that's not the case. You'd think Bioware would've programmed in a system where the monsters level according to yours. Didn't happen, though.

OMG double post banned

Forgot to mention this, but when you go to the Mage Circle, be aware that there will be a point where you won't be able to turn back.

I had actually made it through, and even beat a boss, but unfortunately, I want to be able to do it my way, so I'm trying again, to 1) save Valerie (missed her before, whoops) and 2) save Connor (he was killed by Isode before). Unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to be able to pull it off, it looks like I haven't fully done the Circle of Magi, and I don't even know what I have to do for that.
